Farrah Fawcett Funeral this Tuesday

July 1st, 2009

Farrah Fawcett’s funeral was this Tuesday. It was a private service at Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles. Because it was a private service, I will not post any photographs here, but my heart goes out to her friends and families. This has been a tradgetic week with the death of several celebrities. I especially feel bad that Farrah passed with such courage on the same day as the death of Michal Jackson. My heart goes out to both their families.

Farrah Fawcett’s son help to carry the casket, covered with yellow and orange flowers.

The funeral program featured a photo of Fawcett in a sequined dress. A James Joyce poem “At That Hour” was inscribed inside.

“Play on, invisible harps, unto Love,
Whose way in heaven is aglow
At that hour when soft lights come and go,
Soft sweet music in the air above
And in the earth below.”
